I'm sitting out in my backyard right now with my laptop with a little Josh Thompson playing "Way Out Here" and I'm thinking about how badly I want to get back to the country. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my home in what is far from the big city, but I love having a lot of room to roam, garden, and ride whenever I want.Brandon and I plan on eventually making it back to our little hometown and buying our own little piece of land where I can keep my horses Dunny and Andrew, and where I can have a big garden, an arena, a barn, and a dirtbike track for playing around on.

Plus, we HAVE to have a tree house... and I don't plan on waiting for kids for that.
At the home where I grew up (and still visit every weekend while I work) my parents have an awesome tree house...

However, when I went to check it out the other week I was pretty startled when a giant, gorgeous Barn Owl came flying out...

I just love the rustic look of it. I especially love our "Labrador Wanted" poster-- after all we do have the naughtiest Labby-dor around.

Indiana, Indy for short, is by far the most mischievous dog you'll ever meet, but with looks like hers, she can get away with anything.

My black lab, Fletch, passed away 1.5 years ago - I still miss him. He was truly a companion and a delight and SMART!
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing dogs. I can't imagine the day we will have to say goodbye to our girl. Indy has more personality than ANY dog I have ever met. I swear she understands English. But she is soooo mischievous!
